I am James Ots, the creator of the Prayer Cards application.
The Prayer Cards application uses the 'READ_CONTACTS' permission. This is so that you can have a link to a contact on each of your prayer cards. Your contact data is not stored in the application except for an ID (e.g. "96330c74000044672"), and I have no access to your contacts.
