STOP PRESS!! Eden Burning are playing at Greenbelt this year! Paul Northup just emailed to confirm. Also, Bell Jar will probably play an acoustic set in the performance cafe.
Paul Northup and Charlotte Ayrton are now in a new band called Bell Jar. They have a website.
Although Eden Burning are not gigging any more, they may still do some more recording, but everything seems a bit hazy at the moment, so if I ever hear anything definite I'll post it here immediately.
Eden Burning played their last ever gig at Greenbelt 96, on Friday 23rd August, in a field near Corby. Paul said 'We could carry on but it would end up being the same next year as it has been this year. We were in danger of becoming an institution. Thanks for the memories'. Interestingly, the set didn't include 'Jubilee'. There is a new tape available - see the merchandise page for details. [It's no longer available, but it's called Live At Last.]
Eden Burning have an important announcement to make at Greenbelt this year. Their gig at Greenbelt will be their last ever, so make sure you don't miss them there. Mowf is going to start an acid Jazz band, and the others may go on to start another band, but so far it's just an unconfirmed rumour, but I'll post confirmation as soon as I get back. Eden Burning have released their third studio albumn - it's called Brink, and they think that it's their best album yet. [So do I]
Eden Burning are back on the road! Starting at Cardiff on February 9th, Eden Burning's Brink Tour continues until March 16th - with 'a new and vibrant show'! Check out the gigs page to see if they're coming near you. The tour has been organised by their F.A.B. agency, and the Borderline date on Friday 8th of March is 'a major industry showcase'.

Nive Hall has left Eden Burning so that his other family commitments can have a higher priority. Mark (who used to work in their office) and Dave Pick (from ffg) had been filling in for him.
