live at the orange
Live at the Orange is only available to members of
The Caper. It is a live album which was recorded at the Orange on the
19th June 1994, which is really cool and it's well worth joining The Caper just
to be able to buy this tape (only five pounds). It's got loads of tracks
and the quality is just as good as usual. The tracks on the album are:
- Remember when
- The joust
- Jigs
- If I go up
- Forgive-me-not
- Song for an unknown God
- Matty Groves
At last! I now have a recording of that song
I'd heard them play at all the gigs I went to which everyone seems to like
so much.
- My senses fly
- Hey diddle diddle
- Hold the dream
- Polkas
- Jubilee
This track is different from the other recordings of
it because Charlie uses electric guitar in it instead of mandolin, which
gives it quite a different sound in parts. (Especially around 'and I'll
be lost in my dollar bills and notes').
- Hem me in
- Bones
This track isn't on any of the other recordings I have. It's much more like the style
of some of the stuff of Thin Walls, although it is by someone called Luka Bloom.
- Dependence day
