Last Sunday was rather busy. I went to church in the morning, but had to leave before the end of the service because I needed to be at a restaurant in Leicestershire by half twelve for my brother’s birthday meal with our family and his wife’s family. And then after that my sister and I went off to the Walker’s Stadium where we watched Leicester Tigers lose the Heineken Cup semi-final to Toulouse, but we didn’t mind too much as we were expecting it, and the atmostphere in the Walkers Stadium was amazing, and it was worth going just to watch a rugby game in that Stadium instead of at Welford Road.
After that game I took my sister home and then had to rush back to Coventry so that I could talk to Nomi on Skype. And I managed to get back in time and I talked to her for the first time since she got her job on the cruise – nearly six weeks! It was wonderful to hear her voice again. ‘Only’ five months to go until I get to see her again!
