How could I have a website named after myself without a self\u00a0promoting page all about me? Well, here it is…<\/p>\n

I am married to the beautiful Naomi, have four\u00a0fantastic children and we live in Coventry.<\/p>\n

Music<\/h2>\n

I play guitar and bass, I was learning drums, and I can\u00a0play keyboards a bit. I own the following instruments:\u00a0Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro (Electric Guitar); Fender Stratocaster\u00a0(Electric Guitar); Takamine EGS-430SC (Acoustic Guitar); Ibanez Talman TMB-100 (Bass \u00a0Guitar); Line 6 Flextone II (Guitar Amp. Not\u00a0exactly an instrument, but the electric guitars would be\u00a0pretty useless without it); Warwick BC-40 (Bass Amp); a bodhr\u00e1n; a collection\u00a0of various African drums; a kalimba. I’ve been playing\u00a0guitar since I was about 11, and I like playing lead mostly.<\/p>\n

I also listen to a lot of music. I like a lot of styles –\u00a0almost anything except R&B, although sometimes (very\u00a0rarely) I even like that. My favourite band was\u00a0U2, is probably now Switchfoot, although I listen to all sorts.<\/p>\n

Church<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m a Christian\u00a0and I go to Westwood Church.<\/p>\n

Books<\/h2>\n

I like reading books. When I was in Kenya I was averaging\u00a0nearly three books a months since I didn’t have a TV or many\u00a0of the other things from home to distract me! If you read\u00a0my blog regularly you may occasionally see a book report\u00a0there. My favourite authors include A. E. W. Mason, Arthur\u00a0Ransome, Anita Shreve, Robert Harris, Sebastian Faulks and\u00a0John Grisham.<\/p>\n

Computers<\/h2>\n

You may have guessed that I enjoy playing with computers\u00a0as well, from the fact that I even bothered to put this\u00a0site together. However, I like to get away from them as often as possible, although this is becoming more difficult with and Android phone in my pocket.<\/p>\n

Travel<\/h2>\n

I haven’t travelled much yet, as you can see on the\u00a0map below. (I could cheat and colour the whole of the\u00a0USA in, but I’ll colour it in one state at a time. It’s\u00a0more fun that way. And perhaps I should do the same for\u00a0the UK, with counties?)<\/p>\n
