This week I bought a very new camera and a very old one. The new one has been ordered from the States and is a Canon EOS 300D. I can’t wait to get my hands on it. The old one was bought at Antique Adventure in Coventry and is a Kershaw Eight-20.<\/p>\n

I went to the antiques shop because Nathan texted me to say he’d seen a copy of T. E. Lawrence’s Seven Pillars of Wisdom<\/i> there, which I’ve been looking for for a while. I drove down there immediately and discovered this amazing warehouse-like shop, full of really cool stuff, most of which seemed really cheap. Seven Pillars was a really nice two volume set in almost perfect condition, so I took that. I then found several more really nice books, before stumbling upon the camera which I just had to take as well.<\/p>\n

The moral of this story is, if you like old books and other stuff, don’t go to Antique Adventures, or you’ll end up with very little money.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
