It’s not quite finished yet, but here’s a photo of my first real oil painting. I’ve done a few abstract things just to see how oil paint works before, but this is the first actual picture I’ve done in oils. I still need to add a few details and correct a few bits, but it’s pretty close to finished now. It’s taken about a fortnight so far – although that’s only two painting sessions, the rest of the time was just waiting for it to dry enough to put more paint on.<\/p>\n
