No, that’s not a nebula, that’s the sky this afternoon. With a bit of contrast enhancement. I was lying on the grass in our garden this afternoon listening to Wimbledon on the radio, trying to get a tan, and I looked up at the sky and it looked like a painting, with lots of wispy clouds everywhere. So I took some photographs to try to capture what it looked like. But photos of the sky never quite look as good as they do in real life, so I had to enhance it a bit.<\/p>\n

In other news… last Monday I went to see Ben Folds at De Montfort Hall. He was pretty good, although I only know two of the songs he did, and he did spoil some of them by swearing too much. And on Friday night I saw One Nation at the Belgrade, where they were sounding better than ever, but it was quite a late gig at an unlikely venue, so it wasn’t too crowded.
