Woke up this evening feeling a little groggy – haven’t had a drink for two days now. Heard that James has run out of Doom, so popped round to his for a nightcap.<\/p>\n
He was sitting in his living room reading a book, so I buzzed down to see if I could have a bite while he wasn’t looking. Unfortunately he flinched when I landed on his arm and I flew off ‘cos I though he was about to splat me. I didn’t feel like being liberated just yet.<\/p>\n
At least he wasn’t wearing that Vile Repellant that some people wear – although it’s not as bad as other mosquitoes say – you can usually find a spot near their ankles or neck that they missed.<\/p>\n
I tried another tactic. I did several fly-pasts at full throttle right past his ears. He swiped at me but missed every time. I’m just too fast for him. Once he’d got bored of that I went down and had a quick sip from his knee before he noticed and tried to squash me. This time I was too slow and he got me.<\/p>\n
(I know, it sounds unbelievable that a dead mosquito is writing this. But how much more believable would it be that a live mosquito was writing a blog entry?)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
