My Brother Is A Married Man
I’ve just got back from my brother’s wedding, where I was best man and guitarist. I really wasn’t looking forward to doing the speech, and at one o’clock this morning I gave up on trying to write one, and just winged it instead, which seemed to work.
The weather was beautiful, which was quite amazing considering how cold and wet it’s been all week. Everything went really smoothly and it was a great day was had by all.
I hired a car for the wedding because I thought my old Golf was a bit tatty for driving the groom to his wedding in. I got a Vectra, and although it looks nice, it’s actually a very average car, and I’m quite happy to stick with the Golf. The Vectra performed reasonably well, although it was only a 1.8, but the interior of the car is really boring, and the controls are a bit irritating.
