Superbowl 2

I decided to stay up to watch the superbowl again this year. I really don’t get it. I’ve watched half the game, and nothing has really happened. I’ve heard Americans complain that football (soccer) is boring, and I’m not a great fan of it either, but it’s more interesting than this stuff! (Of course, neither American football nor real football really compare to ice hockey.) They play for a few seconds and then go for an advert break and then switch the teams all round. And can the players not think for themselves? They have to get told what to do all the time. I’d rather watch indoor bowls.

At least The Rolling Stones at half time are pretty good. Not sure they’ve got Mick’s microphone quite right though. Once they’re done I’m going to bed though.

For those who have trouble understanding football, the reason why there are so many stops in play, and why they are always switching players can be found at this site. Just search what you’d like to understand! 🙂 I don’t follow football much (at least AMERICAN football, as the Brits call it – we have our own Canadian Football League, and we don’t compete with the Americans in football.), but these basics might help you! And save you a lengthy explanation of things you might already understand! Now if I can just learn to grasp the concept of cricket and rugby! 😛

It’s okay – I understand how they’re playing American Football. I just don’t understand how anyone could find it interesting.
