After nearly four years I’ve decided it’s time for a change. So I’ve redesigned my website. Here are a few of the highlights of the new site:
- Removed some pages and simplified the menu. The old site had various pages I wasn’t really using any more, so I didn’t need all those menu items any more.
- Improved the blog. Now if you click on the ‘show comments’ link the comments will appear immediately instead of having to load another page.
- Another blog improvement. I’ve got rid of the unreadable blurry numbers and used a turing test instead to prove you’re a human and not a spambot posting comments on my site.
- New photo page. I’m now storing my photos on flickr, and displaying the photos and sets on this website by using their API.
- Improved the html and css on the site.
- Added links to other people’s blogs on the front page.
There are still some improvements I want to make, but I’m pleased with it so far. Let me know if anything doesn’t work for you though.
