Chapelfields

Today I went for a walk around the neigbouring streets. My company is designing a website for an estate agents and we needed some photos of houses to go on the front page, so I though I’d go and see what I could find round here.

There’s not a huge choice of houses to photograph in this area – nearly all the houses are terraces of one sort or another. I was quite impressed by how nice this area is though. There are quite a few quite large houses round here (large for terraces anyway), and most roads were pretty nice and tidy, with quite a few nice gardens around as well. It was very quiet everywhere as well, as most people don’t get to go for a walk as part of their work and were either stuck in offices or schools.

The weather is starting to get a bit colder at last, after one of the best summers I’ve known for a long time. And for me it’s been a very long summer, as I was in Kenya and missed the Autumn, Winter and Spring. Of course, I did have to live through the two rainy seasons, but at least they were still warm. I’m not complaining though – it’s nice to have different weather for a change. A year long summer can get a bit boring eventually.
