Keep On Driving…

In the last week I drove approximately one and a half thousand miles. On Tuesday I drove to York where I met up with Nomi and Bonny and looked around the town and bought a sword. We stayed the night at a hostel (with a glowy light just after the steepy hill) near Harrogate, and then drove around the dales a bit on Wednesday before heading down to Stratford, where we took more photos and didn’t get to see any Shakespeare plays, but did get a good meal in an old pub. Then we came back to Coventry and went to Shay’s acoustic night in the Greyfriars pub, and then stayed at my place for the night. On Thursday we went into town and looked round the Cathedrals and the Motor Museum and got confused by the millennium clock as it doesn’t make any sense as far as I can tell. Then we got Bonny onto her coach down to London and Nomi and I drove up to Scotland, with a short break in Manchester while the RAC fixed a leak in a coolant hose. I spent Friday doing very little and feeling extremely knackered, went cycling on Saturday and did nothing again on Sunday. Then I drove back to Coventry yesterday, went to the Chestnut Tree pub quiz and won a T-shirt and a bottle of wine. Well, I think I contributed at least two correct answers. Far too tired after all that driving to think clearly. Oh, and no photos yet because my digital camera is still with Jessops being fixed. Had to use my film SLR camera instead, and haven’t had the pictures developed yet. (I hope to get a digital SLR before too long.)
