A Week In Calgary

I’ve been in Calgary for a week now, but I haven’t done much because I got a cold almost as soon as I got here and I’ve been trying to get rid of it ever since.

The first picture in this entry is a picture of the road I live on. I live five minutes walk further down the road in an apartment block which looks a bit of a dive from the outside but is quite nice inside.

There are quite a few schools around here, hence the picture of the school bus. Also, they just look really North American, so I had to take a picture of one when I saw it.

And the third picture is something else you don’t see a lot of back home. No, the house isn’t made of cardboard, it’s wooden. It just looks like a cardboard box until they’ve covered it with fake wooden panels.

Well, that’ll be all for now. More mundane pictures coming soon!

Language note: Spaghetti Squash isn’t a foul tasting drink.
